A Taste of Fall at Home..

Fall, my favorite season.

The leaves turning colors, the cool weather, sweaters and cozy blankets. 

Pumpkins, candy corn, scarecrows, pinecones and owls.

We've been going to lots of Farmer's Markets and buying fresh fall flowers to fill up the house with color. Stocking up on harvest veggies and smelling up the house with yummy pumpkin pie candles.

Watching Natalie make turkey projects and hanging up pumpkins on the windows..love!

Such a lovely time of the year and so much to be thankful for.

A Wonderful Day

I've been inspired lately to get into my craft room and make some scrapbook pages.

For this page I joined along two challenges. One was a sketch design from Inspired Blueprints. And the other was from Two Peas in a Bucket which was to use 2 out of 5 of the following prompts: 

1. Use at least 3 6*6 patterned papers.
2. Go for bright
3. Make it go a long way
4. Add a whole lot of arrows
5. Soften the look.

I think I did good with the prompts especially adding lots of arrows! :)

Scrap Therapy

Yesterday I spent a good portion of my day gutting and reorganizing my craft room.

It had too much big pieces of furniture and not enough space!

So with a little help from my hubby I was able to get rid of some bulky things and open up the room..now I love being in there, it's not so cluttered and I know where everything is.

I couldn't sleep, mostly becuase I wanted to get in my newly organized space and create something.

It's been too long since I made scrapbook layouts other than Project Life pages. I decided to join in on the latest Creative Scrappers challenges and played along with  the sketches.

And scrapping my stash is always a good feeling...
